Job summary

University of Western Australia is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist to provide expert advisory and assurance across a diverse technology portfolio. The role collaborates with project teams, developers and operators to embed secure-by-design principles from concept to deployment.

You will lead security assessments and governance initiatives, shaping secure outcomes across cloud, infrastructure, and applications while aligning with UWA’s risk framework and cyber security

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Experience conducting security assessments and secure-by-design reviews across cloud, infrastructure, applications and DevSecOps.
• Extensive advisory/consulting experience across complex technology environments including cloud and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cyber security advisory and assurance services across a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives.
• Lead security assessments, assurance activities and governance initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience.
• Embed secure-by-design principles into solutions from concept through deployment and act as a trusted advisor across cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
