Programmed Maintenance Services – Eight Mile Plains QLD is seeking a Senior Scientist / Experimental Lead to join Brisbane's advanced materials and battery technology team. The role is hands-on, focusing on experimental design, lab execution and translating findings into commercially relevant outcomes.

You will design and run targeted experiments, develop test protocols, lead electrochemical analyses and coordinate multiple programs with disciplined data capture and reporting.

Competenze

• PhD or equivalent industry experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
• At least 3 years' post-PhD industry experience.
• Strong experience designing and executing complex experimental programs.
• A solid understanding of electrochemistry.
• Experience with chemical and/or materials characterization.
• Exposure to product development and technical project management.
• Experience working within quality controlled laboratory environments.
• Previous experience within lithium-ion batteries, energy storage or advanced materials would be highly regarded.
• Strong technical reporting and data analysis skills.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior technical staff.

• Design and execute targeted experiments supporting product development, product refinement and commercialisation.

• Lead advanced testing and analytical programs, including electrochemical analysis.
• Coordinate multiple experimental programs and ensure high standards of data capture, quality control and reporting.
