Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education in Augustine Heights, Queensland, is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Grounds Service & Facilities Officer to lead the maintenance, presentation and safe operation of the College's grounds and facilities.

Play a key role in developing and implementing improvements to gardens, grounds, playing fields, and external surfaces, enhancing the school environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or demonstrated trade skills required.
• Certificate III or completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience maintaining school grounds and buildings.
• Ability to manage maintenance requests online.
• Eligible to work in Australia and Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of school buildings, furniture, and equipment; operate maintenance tools and machinery.
• Prepare for construction and minor repairs including painting, carpentry, and drainage.
• Maintain grounds: gardens, lawns, ovals, irrigation systems.
• Monitor and record maintenance via the online system.
• Assist with setup and maintenance for events and functions.
