Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia seeks an experienced Scheduler/Planner for a Queensland-based role on a 12-month fixed-term contract commencing 28 September 2026. The role focuses on coordinating project and maintenance activities with strong emphasis on planning, resourcing, and timely delivery.

You will develop and update schedules, monitor progress, manage resources, and report to stakeholders. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project is highly desirable and essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven scheduling experience in mining, resources, construction or maintenance projects.
• Strong planning, critical path and resource management skills.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and updating project or maintenance schedules.
• Planning labour, materials, equipment and shutdown activities.
• Monitoring progress, critical paths and completion dates.
• Maintaining accurate schedules and updating plans as priorities change.
• Coordinating resources to support efficient delivery of planned works.
• Providing scheduling updates and progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Master scheduling for capital and operational works.
• Budgeting, forecasting and time and cost reporting.
