Senior Scaffolding Planner for LNG Maintenance

Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler – Scaffolding to join the APLNG maintenance team on Curtis Island. You will develop detailed work scopes, schedules, permits and job packs to support safe and compliant scaffolding, lifting and rigging activities across the LNG facility.

This role requires strong planning skills, experience in heavy industry, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and scheduling experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Background in lifting operations, scaffolding or rigging.
• Experience with permits and risk assessments and work packs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all scaffolding activities across site.
• Develop detailed work packs, method statements and supporting documentation.
• Produce scaffold designs using approved software as required.
• Coordinate work orders, permits, risk assessments, JHAs and associated planning requirements.
• Support daily and weekly scheduling meetings and SIMOPS planning activities.
• Liaise with maintenance, operations and contractor teams to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
• Manage scaffold documentation libraries and SharePoint records.
• Participate in HAZID workshops and risk reviews.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within planning and execution processes.
• Ensure all activities comply with site procedures, Australian Standards and legislative requirements.
