Job summary

Quanta Services Australia is seeking a Senior Engineer - SCADA to join our established engineering team, delivering high-quality SCADA designs for high-voltage substations and related power system equipment.

Based within our established Engineering team, you will work with a highly experienced group of SCADA engineers, designing and configuring SCADA systems for Australia’s renewable energy and utility projects, with hands-on system configuration and testing support.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Turnkey project expertise in high voltage substation design from concept to commissioning.
• Experience in specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment.
• Working knowledge of different SCADA and Communications products used on substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SCADA systems for high-voltage substations.
• Develop designs that comply with client and industry standards.
• Provide technical input and support during tender preparation.
• Hands-on involvement in system configuration and testing across project sites.
