Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Equip Solution Standards (SAP Architect Lead) to govern SAP architecture across a complex landscape. This leadership role connects business strategy to technology delivery, establishing standards and artefacts, and guiding delivery teams with pragmatic, scalable SAP solutions.

You will lead the Equip Design Endorsement Board, ensure traceability from demand to delivery, and partner with Group Technology to shape governance.

Qualifications

• SAP architecture experience in a large enterprise.
• Deep knowledge of SAP best practices and architecture principles.
• Experience establishing or improving architecture governance and design authority processes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Driving consistency, standards and governance across technology teams.
• Balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery outcomes.
• IT degree or equivalent and ability to drive SAP consistency across environments.

Responsibilities

• Chair and lead the governance forum from architecture submission to design approval.
• Act as gatekeeper and coach to architects.
• Lead and improve SAP architecture governance and solution standards.
• Establish Equip design governance forums with high-quality reviews and documentation.
• Maintain SAP architecture standards, artefacts and governance requirements.
• Support solution architects and delivery teams to apply architecture standards.
• Build relationships with business and technology stakeholders to influence outcomes.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across SAP teams.
• Provide leadership for architecture reviews and technology investment initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in the architecture practice.
• Support SAP solutions alignment with enterprise objectives and governance.
