Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Manager, Sanctions Operations to lead the sanctions screening, investigations and risk management activities across the AML/CTF framework. You will drive operational excellence, develop strategy and build a high-performing team to ensure regulatory obligations are met.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in sanctions screening and financial crime operations.
• Experience managing operational sanctions screening and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of sanctions regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sanctions Operations team to ensure timely review and escalation of screening alerts.
• Drive operational excellence across screening and investigation processes.
• Develop and execute plans to strengthen sanctions screening and investigation capability.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage sanctions risks through effective screening, investigation, and decision making.
• Identify emerging sanctions risks and implement controls and mitigations.
• Lead change initiatives impacting the Sanctions Operations function.
