NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist – Application Solutions to grow our Brisbane-based business. You will build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue across Professional Services and Application Managed Services, including areas like ServiceNow, Salesforce, Data & AI and Microsoft.

You will own assigned accounts, manage pipelines and forecasts, and collaborate with partners and internal teams to deliver client outcomes.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Specialist – Application Solutions to build trusted client relationships, uncover new opportunities and grow our Application Solutions business in Brisbane. This is a quota-bearing sales role where you’ll take ownership of assigned accounts, developing new business while growing and retaining existing client relationships. You’ll help clients identify their needs and connect those needs with valuable technology and services solutions. Your focus will include Professional Services and Application Managed Services, working across application and technology areas including ServiceNow, Salesforce, Data & AI and Microsoft, as well as other solutions relevant to client needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and grow client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business, expansion and renewals.
• Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, strategy and environment to identify current and future opportunities.
• Generate demand by helping clients identify their needs and articulating how relevant services and solutions can deliver value.
• Progress qualified leads and proactively develop opportunities within your accounts.
• Build enduring client relationships and become a trusted point of contact.
• Work closely with technology vendors, partners and internal stakeholders to progress opportunities and deliver client outcomes.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to advance and close sales opportunities.
• Manage opportunities, pipeline and forecasts using sales tools and established sales methodologies.
• Support strong client satisfaction throughout the buying lifecycle while helping maximise retention and minimise churn.
• Apply sound commercial, financial, governance and risk awareness within your area of responsibility.

You’ll need:

• Strong experience in technology or professional-services sales, business development, account/client management or a closely related sales role.
• Demonstrated experience developing client relationships and identifying and progressing sales opportunities.
• Experience working with clients and internal teams to shape solutions or services around business needs.
• Strong commercial and sales acumen, including an understanding of client business and financial considerations.
• Experience managing opportunities, pipelines and forecasts using CRM/sales tools.
• The ability to work effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholders to progress opportunities and achieve sales growth.
• The ability to understand client needs and connect technology/services offerings to business outcomes.
• Experience taking ownership of opportunities while coordinating the people and resources needed to progress them.

Desirable, But Not Essential

It would be valuable if you also bring:

• Experience selling Professional Services or Application Managed Services.
• Experience or knowledge across ServiceNow, Salesforce, Data & AI, Microsoft or related application solutions.
• Experience working with global technology partners or vendors.
• Experience in a similar client/account management position.
• Hands‑on experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or a related discipline.
• Relevant technology/vendor certifications.
