Forensicare, Victoria's leading forensic mental health service, is hiring a Psychiatric Registered Nurse 3 (ANUM) at Thomas Embling Hospital. This leadership role supports the Unit Manager, coordinates the nursing team, and delivers evidence-based care and therapeutic programs in a high-security setting.

The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, oversee resources during shifts, and contribute to service development.

Competenze

• Postgraduate certificate in mental health nursing required.
• Current AHPRA registration required.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage resources on a shift.
• Ability to make independent, patient-centred therapeutic recommendations.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and ethical mental health nursing practice.

Mansioni

• Manage resources during the shift.
• Support the Unit Manager and lead the nursing team with practice development.
• Initiate and coordinate unit projects and participate in committees for service development.
• Promote nursing contributions to care with other disciplines and agencies.
