APRA is seeking experienced Risk Specialists to join the Cyber, Operational Resilience and AI Strategy team. You will shape APRA’s regulatory and supervisory response to evolving non-financial risks in Australia's financial system, especially cyber threats, AI adoption and emerging technologies.

As part of the Cross-Industry Risk Division, you will bring together specialist and supervisory expertise across APRA to build shared understandings, translate insights into priorities, and deliver

Qualifications

• Strategic and analytical capability to navigate evolving risk landscapes.
• Experience with prudential or financial regulation, cyber or technology risk preferred.
• Ability to mobilise diverse expertise and lead cross‑organisational work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and data analytics is highly desirable.
