Job summary

HKS Financial Planning, a growing boutique firm in Stones Corner, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Risk Insurance Adviser to lead our insurance practice. You’ll inherit an established client base and collaborate with our planning team to deliver high‑quality protection advice.

Ideally you have personal risk insurance experience, strong relationship skills, and a proactive mindset to grow the book. You’ll work with Xplan, enjoy flexible arrangements, and benefit from dedicated admin support as

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal risk insurance advice.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• A client-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow a business.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Relevant qualifications to provide personal risk insurance advice.
• Experience using Xplan.

Responsibilities

• Conducting insurance reviews for existing clients.
• Developing and implementing personal insurance strategies.
• Advising on Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insurance.
• Building and strengthening long-term client relationships.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes.
• Generating referrals and new business opportunities.
• Growing and retaining the existing insurance portfolio.
• Working closely with financial planners and support staff.
• Maintaining high compliance and professional standards.
