We are looking for a Senior Risk Advisor to join our Enterprise Risk Team to support the implementation and refinement of the Risk Management Framework across all business units. This is a 12- month Fixed Term, Parental Leave Cover.

This role can be based out of either Head Office, Sydney (Mascot) or Melbourne (Collingwood).

What you will be doing

  • Partner with the business units to implement and continuously refine the Risk Management Framework
  • Deliver high-quality risk reporting and insights for Executive and Board
  • Oversee the bank’s incident management process, including providing incident management oversight and supporting stakeholders to respond to investigating, managing and resolving incidents and escalations
  • Collaborate with first line teams to enhance risk ownership and uplift their capability
  • Provide content to key regulatory activities, including the Risk Management Declaration, CPS 220 compliance initiatives
  • Support the Manager Enterprise Risk with enterprise risk initiatives and ensure consistency in the application of risk frameworks, policies, and practices across the bank

What you will bring:

  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, practices and APRA standards (especially CPS 220 and CPS 230)
  • Experience operating in or advising across all three lines of defence, with strong working knowledge of risk governance structures
  • Experience contributing to risk reporting or regulatory assurance desirable
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
