Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Senior Supervisor to be at the heart of the store, partnering with the leadership team to keep the store safe, well‑stocked and ready for customers. You’ll lead by example, coach colleagues on the shop floor, and help with opening and closing duties to support a great customer experience.

This full‑time role requires flexible morning, day and evening shifts across seven days. The adult pay rate is $31.93 per hour for 18+ and the company supports a diverse, inclusive culture

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a retail team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members on the shop floor.
  • Strong focus on safety, stock control and customer service.

About the role

As a Senior Supervisor, you’ll partner closely with the leadership team to bring our store to life – making sure it’s safe, well‑stocked and ready for customers. This is a full time role and you need to have flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts across the 7 days of the week is required so that we can provide the best experience to our customers. We provide an adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above at $31.93 per hour for this role.

  • Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing
  • Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty
  • Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes
  • Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job
About You

  • Communicate clearly and build strong working relationships across the store
  • Stay organised and can balance multiple priorities across your shift

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a retail or customer‑facing leadership or supervisory role
  • Confidence supporting store operations, including safety, stock management and customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a practical way
  • A focus on safety and creating a positive environment for team members and customers
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts
