Job summary

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) in Parramatta (hybrid) invites a Senior Project Officer, Retail and Customer Service to lead statewide retail projects and enhance visitor experiences. You will connect teams, drive initiatives across NSW, and develop practical approaches for store systems, pricing, and service standards.

Bring extensive multi-site retail experience, strong project leadership, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Extensive retail operations experience across a multi-site network.
• Proven project leadership and business improvement.
• Strong commercial judgement using data to inform decisions.
• Experience with retail systems, inventory, pricing or merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with visitor centre teams and stakeholders across NSW to deliver shared outcomes.
• Lead the visitor centre community of practice and share expertise.
• Support the development of retail technology, including Salesforce and StoreConnect.
• Use sales, inventory, pricing, supplier and visitation data to generate insights.
• Develop and refine retail practices, service standards and pricing approaches.
• Build capability through resources, training and coaching.
• Work with suppliers and stakeholders on purchasing and contract management.
• Lead complex projects and adapt priorities as NPWS evolves.
