Job summary

McGrathNicol is a leading independent professional services firm recognised for its work in Cyber, Deals, Forensic, Performance, Restructuring and Risk & Compliance. This role sits within the Restructuring team to help clients navigate financial distress, turnaround and insolvency engagements with rigorous analysis and pragmatic solutions.

You will partner with boards, management and financiers to identify root causes, formulate turnaround strategies and deliver value-maximising restructures

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Commerce or related discipline (or equivalent).
• CA ANZ membership highly regarded.
• Experience leading junior team members and managing workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage restructuring engagements, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Identify issues, risks and opportunities using market and industry knowledge.
• Ensure quality control across engagements meeting McGrathNicol standards.
• Perform cash flow modelling, scenario analysis and valuations.
• Design, build and review financial models and information protocols.
• Deliver high-quality client service and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Coach and develop junior team members through feedback and guidance.
