Job summary

Nature Foundation in Adelaide seeks a senior leader to manage reserves and deliver externally funded conservation projects. You will oversee on-ground operations across multiple reserves, ensure contract delivery and ecological quality with a distributed field team.

The role requires working with Traditional Owners, tight governance with the CEO, and maintaining relationships with landholders and authorities. A tertiary natural resource management or ecology qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership of multi-site reserve or land management operations.
• Experience delivering externally funded on-ground conservation projects.
• Ability to scope, contract and cost-recover projects.
• Knowledge of SEB and carbon project compliance.
• Experience working with Traditional Owners on Country.
• Tertiary qualification in natural resource management, ecology or related discipline; valid driver's licence and 4WD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-ground operations across the reserve portfolio.
• Scope, contract and deliver externally funded conservation projects.
• Manage budgets, timelines and ecological quality assurance.
• Oversee a distributed field team and ensure safety and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with Traditional Owners and governance with the CEO.
• Maintain relationships with landholders, fire authorities and local government.
