Job summary

ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Remedial Consultant for its Sydney Remedial Engineering, Waterproofing & Facades team. The role focuses on leading inspections, producing remediation recommendations and managing projects from investigation to completion.

You will mentor junior staff, build relationships with strata managers and property owners, and contribute to business growth within a leading employee-owned engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in remedial consultancy, waterproofing or remedial project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capability and commercial awareness.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying or Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead building inspections, defect investigations and diagnostic assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, scopes of work and remediation recommendations.
• Manage remedial projects from investigation through to construction and completion.
• Build strong relationships with strata managers, owners corporations, property owners and key stakeholders.

Due to continued growth, our Sydney Remedial Engineering, Waterproofing & Facades team is seeking a Senior Remedial Consultant to join the business.

The Role

As a Senior Remedial Consultant you will:

About You

We're interested in hearing from professionals with:

• 5+ years' experience in remedial consultancy, waterproofing or remedial project delivery.
• Strong exposure to strata and apartment remediation projects.
• Proven experience in preparing reports, specifications and remedial recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capability and commercial awareness.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying or Architecture.

Experience across façade inspection and remediation, waterproofing, concrete repair, building defects, structural remediation or contract administration will be highly regarded.
