Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA seeks a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer to drive global regulatory strategy for hardware releases, research and certify requirements across markets, and guide cross-functional teams through regulatory challenges.

The role collaborates with legal, homologation, and ODM/JDM partners and requires travel to meet program schedules and regulatory deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
Experience leading and defining requirements across diverse organizations.
5+ years managing complex technology projects with engineering teams.
5+ years in consumer electronics regulatory/compliance roles.
Experience with EMC/Regulatory Compliance (FCC/ICES, CISPR, EN55032/35).
Experience with safety and environmental regulatory requirements.
5+ years in supply chain/manufacturing for complex systems.

Responsibilities

Drive global regulatory strategy across hardware portfolio and launch countries.
Ensure products meet international safety, EMC, wireless, and environmental regs.
Conduct regulatory research, testing, and certification management.
Manage test plans for customer terminals and accessories.
Lead cross-functional teams through regulatory challenges.
Coordinate with legal, homologation, and ODM/JDM partners.
Define regulatory requirements and product definitions with stakeholders.
Travel as required.
