  • Advanced ACEM Training: Our department is accredited for 24 months of FACEM training, with the potential to undertake up to 3 years of your training with us, including ICU and anaesthetics rotations.
  • Structured Education: Take advantage of protected weekly teaching sessions, fellowship exam preparation and multidisciplinary morbidity and mortality (M&M) meetings.
  • Wide Clinical Exposure: Our busy ED sees over 60,000 patients annually, with a significant paediatric presentation rate (25%) and a 28% admission rate, providing you with a rich and varied clinical experience.
  • A Culture of Support: We pride ourselves on a culture of supervision and teamwork, where junior medical staff are proactively mentored and supported. We support flexible work arrangements, based on personal needs.

What You'll Bring

Essential Requirements

  • Full General Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Specialist International Medical Graduate (SIMG) or Competent Authority Pathway.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine at a Registrar or Senior HMO level.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centred care and contributing to a positive team environment.

Desirable Attributes

  • Current enrolment with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) for specialist or associate training.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
