Job summary

ACT Government is seeking a Senior Recruitment and Training Officer for the Transport Canberra Recruitment and Training Team. This full-time temporary role reports to the Assistant Director Recruitment and will lead the day-to-day operations of a small team.

The ideal candidate will understand ACT Government recruitment methods, work with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver high-quality recruitment strategies and projects within policy and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of ACT Government recruitment methods and principles.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders across ACT Government.
• Experience interpreting relevant policies and enterprise agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Recruitment and Training Team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality recruitment strategies and programs.
• Analyse stakeholder requirements and workshop solutions within policy requirements.
• Support workforce training and development initiatives for the team.
