Job summary

Aspirante is seeking an experienced React / Java Developer to join a major enterprise application enhancement initiative in Brisbane. The role covers front‑end and back‑end work, modernisation, system integrations and ongoing technical improvements.

The contract runs through to June 2026 with a 12‑month extension, and the Brisbane CBD location is hybrid. You will develop enhancements using React, Java and related technologies, review code and deployments, and contribute to API design, testing

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise applications with React, JavaScript and Java.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Hands‑on WebSphere deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Oracle databases.

This opportunity will suit a developer who enjoys working with established enterprise applications, investigating existing codebases, and delivering enhancements that improve functionality, integration and performance.

You will work across front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to application modernisation, system integrations and ongoing technical improvements.

Key responsibilities include:
