Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty is delivering major rail upgrade works in Queensland, coordinating utility protection, relocation and interface tasks to enable station works and level crossing removals. The role ensures safety, budget compliance and integration with civil works across a brownfield rail environment.

You will lead a team, liaise with clients, and drive efficient utility design and construction delivery on a high-profile Faster Rail project in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Rail Industry Worker competencies and inductions.
• Minimum 7 years experience focused on utilities.
• Proven ability to manage self and others to deliver work valued between $10M and $50M.
• Experience developing works packs and ensuring scope compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate utility protection, relocation and interface works.
• Ensure designs and procurement align with project standards and budgets.
• Prepare SOWs and collaborate with procurement to award utilities packages.
• Manage field utility-related construction activities and safety.
• Coordinate with utility asset owners for approvals, access and shutdowns.
