John Holland is seeking a Senior Telecommunication Engineer to lead the Rail Telecoms package on the B2N Rail Stage 1 project in Queensland. You will coordinate with QR and TMR, manage interfaces, and drive safe, reliable telecoms integration for critical rail infrastructure.

The role requires deep experience in legacy systems, IP/MPLS, and rigorous documentation, with a focus on schedule, risk, and collaboration with cross‑discipline teams to deliver a complex nationwide project.

Competenze

• Extensive telecoms design and integration experience on rail projects.
• Experience with QR SEMS, AS/NZS standards and TMR requirements.
• Ability to lead interface documentation and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of network types like SDH, DWDM, and IP/MPLS.

Mansioni

• Lead interface with QR and TMR for Rail Telecoms package.
• Integrate legacy QR telecoms with IP/MPLS transport ensuring safety constraints.
• Review BOMs, interface drawings, and RVTM mapping.
• Develop telecom construction sequencing with rail possession windows.
• Lead testing with client and prepare test reports.
