Job summary

Department of Health, Tasmania is inviting applications from qualified Diagnostic Radiographers and Mammographers for BreastScreen Tasmania specialist radiographer opportunities. Roles may be fixed-term up to 12 months across locations, full-time, part-time or casual, with hours subject to service needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification approved by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
• Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
• Licensed to practice under Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016.
• Current Driver’s Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver screening mammography, diagnostic imaging and further assessment imaging across BreastScreen Tasmania screening unit sites.
• Supervise and support less experienced staff.
• Maintain professional and clinical standards in line with the BreastScreen Australia Program.
