Job summary

Cancer Care Associates is expanding its radiation therapy team in Manning Great Lakes, NSW. The Senior Radiation Therapist will lead planning and treatment delivery, provide expert clinical guidance, and support a compassionate, patient-centred environment across our growing regional service.

You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team and contribute to high-quality, safe care while adopting new techniques and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven clinical and technical expertise in radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery.
• Experience with advanced techniques such as SRS, SABR, and surface-guided RT is essential.
• Current AHPRA registration and NSW Radiation Use Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the radiation therapy team across simulation/planning or treatment delivery.
• Provide guidance on clinical matters to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and continuously improve service quality.
• Lead a high-performance team focused on excellence in patient care and staff development.
• Develop and implement new work instructions and train staff on new techniques and equipment.
