Job summary

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (Parkville) Quality and Improvement team is seeking a Senior Quality and Improvement Specialist with a passion for Safe, Timely, Equitable and Person‑centred care to join our collaborative team and help deliver a contemporary Whole System Quality framework.

You will partner with clinical services across the organisation to drive adverse event management, continuous improvement, and readiness for NSQHS accreditation and other assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' acute healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of improvement science and systems thinking.
• Ability to lead teams and influence senior clinicians and executives.

Responsibilities

• Support effective adverse event management and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Drive strategies for readiness for NSQHS and accreditation.
• Lead the Integrated Clinical Governance Model implementation and provide governance guidance.
• Build capability and foster a culture of accountability, learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with service leaders and frontline teams to implement best-practice solutions.
