Job summary

Westbury Partners is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and build Python-based trading infrastructure and distributed systems. You will partner with quantitative researchers and technologists to improve research capabilities, production performance, and productivity across expanding markets.

Responsibilities include designing and developing Python software for large-scale distributed systems, ensuring reliability in Linux environments, analyzing big datasets, and owning projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering with Python.
• Experience building and maintaining large distributed systems.
• Strong Linux experience and comfort in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python software for large-scale distributed systems.
• Contribute to critical research and production infrastructure.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop scalable solutions.
