Kraken in Melbourne is seeking a software engineer to help build our energy platform, focusing on Python and Django services, REST APIs, and data processing at scale.

You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering domain models and robust, fault-tolerant software that processes millions of meter readings daily, with a strong emphasis on correctness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Django for building robust APIs and services.
• Experience with data modeling, domain modeling and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, and CI/CD workflows is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-disciplinary software in a fast-paced environment.
• Model domain concepts and build fault-tolerant software for energy data processing.
