Job summary

Flowserve Australia is seeking a DCI Repair Technician to dismantle, clean, inspect, and reassemble pumps and decoking equipment, using precision tools and documenting results to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will follow pre-job briefs, perform repairs, apply coatings, record measurements, report non-conformities, and communicate with planners, engineers, and customers. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years relevant experience in pump or heavy machinery repair.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Rotating machinery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions in pre-job briefings and complete checklists and procedures.
• Clean parts for reuse and document condition of components.
• Disassemble products to repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect components accurately and record results.
• Remove dirt, grease, and other matter from pump parts before assembly.
• Apply primer and finish coatings to exterior surfaces.
• Operate precision measuring tools and document measurements.
• Document condition with photos and reports any deviations.
• Communicate with planners, engineers and customers about pump conditions.
• Participate in quality processes and corrective actions as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime including weekends/holidays.
