Job summary

Northern Territory Government- Department of Health in Darwin is seeking a Psychologist to join the Acute / Renal Services team. The role focuses on delivering inpatient, evidence-based psychological services within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will be supported by senior clinicians and management, with opportunities for supervision, professional development, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unconditional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
• Provide evidence-based psychological services within a multidisciplinary framework.
• Provide supervision to students and staff as required.
• Manage a caseload and re-prioritise tasks to meet timelines.
• Participate in quality improvement and service development activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, culturally appropriate inpatient psychology services within Acute / Renal Services.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with senior clinicians and management.
• Adhere to service quality standards and WHS policies.
• Foster a positive workplace culture in line with TEHS charter.
