Mediix is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the adult services team in Darwin, NT. The position is fixed-term (12 months) and full-time, offering involvement across inpatient and community settings with teaching and leadership responsibilities.

The role combines senior clinical practice with on-call duties, supervision of junior staff, and active participation in multidisciplinary care and training programs.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
• Eligibility for, or Fellowship with, RANZCP.
• Experience at Consultant/Specialist level in psychiatry.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary mental health services.

Consultant Psychiatrist | Adult Services | Darwin, Northern Territory | Fixed-term (12 months) | Full-time

We’re currently partnering with a highly regarded public mental health service in the Top End to appoint a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team delivering adult psychiatry services across inpatient and community settings.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior clinical role with genuine variety – combining acute care, community engagement, teaching, and service development – all within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

• Specialist Clinician: $249,959 – $305,454 package
• Senior Specialist Clinician: $315,843 – $349,187 package
