PsychXchange in Bundaberg is seeking a Senior Psychologist specializing in Intellectual Developmental Disability to join the Wide Bay Mental Health Services at Bundaberg Hospital.

You will deliver evidence-based clinical services within a high-functioning interprofessional team, contribute to service development and quality improvement, supervise junior staff, and lead education initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality evidence-based psychological clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
• Contribution to the advancement of quality Psychology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
• Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
• Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to AlliedHealth Assistants (AHA's).
