Job summary

SA Health's OPSA is seeking an Advanced Clinical Prosthetist/Orthotist to lead, mentor, and innovate across complex caseloads in OPSA and affiliated clinics.

The role emphasizes advanced assessment, treatment planning, and direct clinical service provision, reporting to the OPSA Director. Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, be eligible for AOPA membership, and have 5+ years of P&O experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent.
• Eligible for membership to Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.
• Driver’s license.
• Minimum of five years clinical practise within O&P.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced prosthetic/orthotic assessment and intervention.
• Lead and mentor clinical and technical staff.
• Engage in service planning and clinical governance with OPSA.
• Promote education, training and research activities.
• Assist in recruitment of staff.
