Job summary

Novita is seeking an experienced Prosthetist to join its Orthotics & Prosthetics team in Adelaide. You will manage a complex prosthetic caseload, assess and prescribe advanced solutions, and apply expert clinical reasoning to complex presentations while working with microprocessor devices.

You will mentor clinicians, collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, and contribute to service development, safeguarding best practice and client outcomes across diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Prosthetics and Orthotics qualification with extensive prosthetic experience.
• Eligible for professional body membership.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check current or willing to obtain.
• Working with Children Check current or willing to obtain.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex prosthetic caseload with emphasis on advanced clinical outcomes.
• Assess, prescribe and review sophisticated prosthetic solutions for clients with diverse needs.
• Apply expert clinical reasoning to support complex presentations.
• Work with advanced prosthetic technologies, including microprocessor‑controlled devices.
• Mentor clinicians through clinical supervision and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client‑centred outcomes.
