Job summary

Pacific Energy, based in Perth, seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules across multiple projects. You will work under the Lead Planner, coordinating with managers to ensure schedules align with goals and budgets.

Applicant should have 5+ years in scheduling, strong Primavera P6 experience, and knowledge of PM practices. The role offers growth, a full-time pathway, and access to ongoing training at our Perth office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project scheduling.
  • Experience with Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • PMI-SP or PSP certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, and other tools.
  • Analyse project schedules to identify critical paths, constraints and risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers to refine schedules.
  • Monitor progress and update schedules to keep projects on time and budget.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and delays with project teams.
  • Provide regular schedule reports to managers and stakeholders.
  • Lead schedule review meetings with teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for scheduling.

The Senior Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for multiple projects. The Senior Project Scheduler will work under the Lead Planner and closely with project managers and team members to ensure that project schedules are accurate, achievable, and aligned with project goals and objectives

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
  • Analyse project schedules and identify critical paths, constraints, and risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and refine project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work with project teams to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and delays.
  • Provide regular schedule reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for project scheduling.
