Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, Canberra-based recruitment and services firm, is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to lead integrated scheduling across complex programs in the ACT. The role focuses on critical path analysis, risk management and senior stakeholder engagement, with onsite attendance required for the first six weeks.

The position runs up to 12 months, with a transition to hybrid work later. The successful candidate will guide scheduling practices, monitor milestones, and provide strategic advice

Senior ProjectScheduler | Integrated Scheduling

Lead complex project and program delivery with a strong focus on integrated scheduling, critical path analysis, risk management and senior stakeholder engagement. The role requires onsite attendance in the ACT for the first 6 weeks before a hybrid arrangement may be considered.

Location:ACT
Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 6 weeks, then hybrid flexible working may be considered
Contract Duration: Up to 12 months
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline clearance

Essential Tasks

• Lead the development and management of complex integrated project and program schedules.
• Monitor critical paths, dependencies, milestones and delivery risks across multiple workstreams.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives on scheduling, resourcing, risks and issues.
• Lead stakeholder collaboration, change control and continuous improvement of scheduling practices.

Key Criteria

• Strong project management expertise delivering complex projects, including governance, risk, change control and financial management.
• Advanced capability in integrated scheduling, schedule performance analysis and automated scheduling and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated organisational change management expertise across large and complex initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder relationship, requirements management and influential communication capability.
