Job summary

MPK is seeking an Engineer (Project & Senior Projects Engineers and Quality Engineers) for a Surat Basin project on a 19:9 roster. The role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes through close collaboration with construction and client teams.

Successful applicants will bring experience in construction, oil and gas or civil sectors, strong communication, and a track record in quality assurance and technical leadership on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, oil and gas or civil industry.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to monitor and interpret technical designs and drawings and ensure they are applied correctly in the field.
• Demonstrated experience to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site engineering team to deliver work packages from design through handover.
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities across construction.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and schedules for constructability.
• Manage procurement interfaces and contractor interfaces.
• Monitor progress, risks and changes with stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Engineers and field staff.
