Job summary

NSW Ministry of Health is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead the VMO Oversight Program, a temporary full-time role embedded in the Financial Planning and Analytics team and based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards NSW.

You will manage diverse activities, coordinate resources, and work across NSW Health agencies to modernise VMO engagement and remuneration processes while ensuring robust reporting and budgeting practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on statewide NSW Health projects.
• The ability to build relationships and manage a range of diverse stakeholders through excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills.
• Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of complex projects related to the VMO Oversight Program.
• Develop project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
• Work with teams across the Ministry of Health, HealthShare NSW, eHealth, Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks on the successful delivery of the VMO Oversight Program.
