Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the Post Sentence Branch in Corrections Victoria. This full-time VPS 5 role offers a salary of $116,413 to $140,849 plus superannuation and contributes to reintegration outcomes for people on post sentence orders.

You will lead data and systems initiatives, oversee contract management, coordinate information requests and produce executive summaries to inform decision making within a complex corrections

Qualifications

• Demonstrated contract management experience.
• Strong data and systems knowledge.
• Understanding of post sentence scheme operational needs.
• Awareness of complexities in managing people on post sentence orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead data and systems initiatives within the Post Sentence Branch.
• Oversee and coordinate contracts, monitoring service delivery for post sentence agreements.
• Analyse data and emerging strategic issues related to people on orders in the corrections environment.
• Prepare executive summaries and briefings for senior management.
