NSW Department of Communities and Justice invites applications for a Senior Project Officer – Buy Ups based in Berkshire Park. This temporary full-time position (up to 24 months) offers a Clerk Grade 9/10 salary with superannuation and leave loading.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic and innovative project management.
• Excellent understanding of project methodologies, processes and procedures.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Current Driver Licence and preparedness to drive as required by the role

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation to achieve outcomes within time and budget.
• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
• Monitor and evaluate project implementation, including risk, benefits realisation and quality measures.
• Lead project teams to deliver milestones and outcomes with governance compliance.
• Undertake research and provide recommendations to support evidence-based planning.
• Provide timely advice to stakeholders on project issues and delivery plans.
