Job summary

Decipher Bureau is seeking an OT Security Project Manager to drive a major cyber security transformation for an Australian energy and critical infrastructure client. The role sits between on-site engineers and the broader security program, ensuring OT security controls are delivered on time and on budget without disrupting live operations.

You’ll lead multi-site projects across generation facilities, embed security into daily workflows, and report to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' project management experience, including OT/ICS cybersecurity.
• Experience delivering projects within critical infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of the SOCI Act, with AESCSF experience highly regarded.

We are working with a major ASX-listed critical infrastructure organisation - looking for an OT Security Project Manager. You will be the driving force behind a major cyber security transformation program across a critical infrastructure operator's OT/generation environments.

Sitting between engineering teams on the ground and the broader security program, you'll be the one making sure OT security controls actually get delivered - on scope, on budget, and on time, without disrupting live operations. This isn't a desk-bound PM seat - you'll be site-facing, working directly with engineers and asset owners to get things done.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and delivering OT security projects across multiple generation sites as part of a large-scale cyber transformation program.
• Working with generation site managers and engineers to embed security into day-to-day operational workflows.
• Partnering with security architects, engineers and external vendors to implement controls like network segmentation, secure remote access, asset visibility and OT monitoring.
• Owning project governance - tracking milestones, budgets, risks and deliverables using formal PM methodologies.
• Preparing project documentation, status reports and governance updates for executive stakeholders.

Experience Needed:

• 5+ years' project management experience, including experience with OT/ICS cybersecurity.
• Track record delivering projects within critical infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of the SOCI Act, with AESCSF experience highly regarded.
