Job summary

Special Broadcasting Service Corporation (SBS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead SBS's multi-year Network Transformation Project, modernising network capabilities across broadcast, digital and enterprise services. This hands-on leadership contract role spans two years and requires delivering complex technology initiatives and coordinating multiple vendors and teams.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you'll lead the delivery of SBS's multi-year Network Transformation Project, modernising the network capabilities that underpin our broadcast, digital and enterprise services.

This is a hands-on leadership role (Contract, 2 years) for an experienced project manager who can successfully deliver complex technology initiatives, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive outcomes across multiple workstreams, vendors and technical teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of SBS's Network Transformation Project.
• Manage multiple technology workstreams, vendors and delivery partners.
• Drive project governance, financial management, risk management and executive reporting.
• Collaborate closely with technical specialists to deliver scalable, secure and operationally supportable solutions.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, business readiness and successful transition into operations.

About you

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Experience leading large-scale enterprise infrastructure, network or technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong project delivery expertise across complex environments with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience managing significant budgets, governance processes and delivery partners.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• A solid understanding of enterprise networking, cloud, cyber security and infrastructure technologies.
• Relevant project management qualifications and/or certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or AIPM accreditation.
