Job summary

Transmin Pty Ltd, a Western Australian owned OEM, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver capital mining and materials handling projects. You will manage awarded projects, coordinate procurement, and partner with workshop teams to plan resources, while monitoring budgets, risks, and schedules.

Travel to sites in Australia will be required. The role requires a PM or engineering qualification, strong commercial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management with proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Qualification in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, mining, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience working with contracts and contractual obligations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Proven experience managing project scope, variations, costs and schedules.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience managing project scope, variations, costs and schedules.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Manage awarded projects and contracts to ensure delivery against commercial and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring quality goods and services sourced cost effectively and on schedule.
• Partner with workshop and operational teams to effectively plan labour and resources.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, risks, schedules and performance.
• Prepare and deliver commercial, technical and financial reporting, including Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.
• Manage project invoicing and contract administration activities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Travel to site when required to support project delivery.
