Job summary

D&P Management is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple health, police, corrections and education projects across the Northern Territory. You will steer planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, engaging clients and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

You will bring 8+ years of delivery experience in building, civil, or infrastructure projects, plus a tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience delivering building, civil or infrastructure projects.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong client, stakeholder and consultant management capability.
• Experience delivering health, police, corrections, education or other government and social infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
• Ability to work effectively in live, operational or security-sensitive environments.
• Sound knowledge of design, procurement and construction processes.
• Excellent written communication, reporting and governance skills.
• Proactive and collaborative approach with the confidence to lead through complexity.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex building and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.
• Managing projects within operational health, education, justice and secure facilities.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinating consultants, contractors, authorities, operators and end users.
• Establishing project governance, reporting and decision-making frameworks.
• Managing programme, budget, scope, quality, procurement and risk.
• Planning project staging to minimise disruption to essential services and facility operations.
• Navigating complex stakeholder, security, safety, probity and compliance requirements.
• Providing clear, strategic advice throughout planning and delivery.
• Supporting project commissioning, operational readiness and handover.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a strong delivery culture.
• Supporting business development, client retention and acquisition, and the continued growth of D&P Management.

Education

Tertiary qualification in construction management/engineering/architecture or related discipline
