AEMO’s System Design division is responsible for planning the power system in the context of unprecedented transformation. The rapid transition to renewable energy generation and electrification of many sectors (transport, industry etc) has seen sharp rises in proposed transmission and distribution connection projects.
About the Team
Our Onboarding and Connections Team are at the forefront of energy industry transformation. We collaborate with generation developers, Network Service Providers (NSPs), and government agencies to drive project delivery, accelerate connections, and provide expert advisory services on system impact and critical issue resolution.
About the role
As Senior Project Manager, you will manage a portfolio of diverse connections projects, providing rigorous project management from initial coordination to completion. You will mentor junior staff, build relationships with stakeholders across NSPs, developers, and government, and contribute to improvement initiatives for processes, systems, and tools within AEMO.
