Job summary

Honeywell Building Automation in Abbotsford, Victoria seeks a Sr Project Manager to drive successful delivery of complex projects. You will plan, execute, and control all aspects of project delivery, including finances, schedule, and resources, while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and effective communication. NV1 clearance is highly advantageous; travel may be required. Hybrid work arrangement in Abbotsford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/IT) or equivalent with significant experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management preferred or proven good track record.
• Over 8 years of proven project management experience including financials, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall responsibility for delivery of complex projects to quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage contractual requirements to minimise exposure and ensure timely responses.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the project team.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build trust with customers.
• Lead contractual claims with the Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor.
• Manage subcontractors and supply requirements.
• Deliver to financial objectives, including forecasting and cost control.
• Implement risk management programs and proactive mitigation.
• Adhere to highest Health & Safety standards.
