Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage & Solar, with NSW, QLD or VIC responsibility and remote/home-based options. You will lead end-to-end delivery of C&I BESS projects from contract award through commissioning, energisation and handover.

The role requires hands-on BESS delivery experience, deep technical knowledge of battery systems, BMS/inverter integration, safety and fire compliance, plus DNSP approvals and strong stakeholder management

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience delivering commercial & industrial BESS projects.
Strong technical understanding of battery systems, BMS/inverters and safety.
Experience managing DNSP connection and network approvals.
Commercial and project management skills including budgets and procurement.
Excellent stakeholder management across multiple states.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of C&I BESS projects from design through energisation and handover.
Provide technical oversight of battery systems, including BMS and inverter integration.
Manage DNSP approvals, network requirements, metering and export/import arrangements.
Own project budgets, forecasting, variations and risk management.
Coordinate clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
