Job summary

Indigitise, Canberra, is seeking an Senior ICT Project Manager to lead delivery of projects and manage infrastructure running costs and capital budgets. You will provide strategic advice to procurement, business and ICT teams on ICT hardware, software and services, overseeing investment priorities and infrastructure refresh programs.

Reporting to the National Manager, you will negotiate with vendors, develop strategies, and ensure commercial terms support the department's long-term objectives

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT cost analysis within the Public Sector.
• Experience in investment planning and policy in the Public Sector.
• Experience in establishing ICT cost management teams in the Public Sector.
• Experience in governance and control frameworks for ICT running costs.
• Experience in ICT cost transparency solutions in the Public Sector.
• Experience in producing Executive performance reporting with benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic sourcing, procurement and commercial advice for major IT projects.

Job Description

• Provide strategicsourcing, procurement and commercial advice relating to major IT projectsand other procurements as required.
  
• Under thedirection of the National Manager will advise vendor negotiations anddevelop negotiations strategies and tactics.
  
• Provide advice toensure that the agreed commercial terms are in the best long-terminterests of the department.
  
• Conduct commercialrisks assessment ensuring risks are identified and effectively managed.
  
• Developcomprehensive reports as required.
  
• Contribute tosourcing and procurement strategies and plans as required.
