Job summary

Design & Build is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure and structural projects across Australia from our Brisbane base. This senior role reports to the General Manager and requires strong FRP, commercial, and leadership capabilities while coordinating teams across multiple states.

You will drive pre-construction to completion, oversee budgets, procurement, and client relationships, and travel interstate to ensure project alignment with safety, quality, and delivery

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with civil construction experience.
• Essential: FRP experience.
• Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and construction methodologies.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, cost control, forecasting and contractual obligations.
• Experience overseeing projects across multiple locations/regions.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or construction management.

• Oversee project planning, programming, budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, consultants and key client relationships across multiple states.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing civil infrastructure business, overseeing the delivery of complex civil construction and structural projects across Australia.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement & Pour) and civil structures.

Based out of the Brisbane office, this is a national position responsible for overseeing projects across multiple states, requiring regular interstate travel and engagement with project teams on site.

This role will suit someone who can take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, providing strong commercial, operational and project leadership while driving outcomes across multiple projects and locations.
